The Diaconal Ordination of Matthew Bajada, who is from the Parish of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, Gharb, took place on Friday at the Gozo Cathedral.
Archbishop George Frendo OP conducted the Ordination.
Matthew Bajada was instituted into the Ministry of Lector by the Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma in January 2021, in the Parish Church of Christ the Saviour, Ghasri.
He was instituted as Acolyte in the Gharb parish in December. Then in April this year Matthew Bajada was admitted as a candidate for Holy Orders in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu.
