Next week, there will be a Symphony of Lights Concert – with the St Gregory Band under the direction of Mro. Mark Gauci, in the pretty hamlet of Santa Lucija in Gozo.

This open-air concert, in Pjazza Santa Lucija will also include a spectacular lights and fireworks display to enrich this unique event in one of Gozo’s oldest hamlets.

The square will be lit by candles and torch light adding to the atmosphere for the evening.

A Symphony of Lights Concert is being held next Friday, the 14th of October, starting at 8pm, entrance is free of charge.

Those travelling by bus may take bus 313 from Victoria bus terminus at 7.35pm.

A reminder that this evening as the sun goes down, Ghar Ilma Hill will be lit up with thousands of lanterns – all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Gozitan countryside surrounding the heart of the village of Santa Lucija.

The traditional Fjakkolata – Celebration of Light is taking place tonight, Sunday, the 9th of October, the torches will start being lit from around 7.00pm onwards, on Ghar Ilma Hill.

This event is supported by the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.
