Kor Malta will be giving a concert, the first in Gozo by the national choir, as part of the 15th edition of Gaulitana: A Festival of Music.
Under the direction of its conductor Riccardo Bianchi, Kor Malta will be presenting a varied and unique sacred repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary, entitled ‘Sacrae Cantiunculae.’
The concert is taking place on Sunday, the 22nd of January, starting at 7.30pm in St. Augustine Church, Victoria. Entrance to the concert is free and no reservations are required.
It will be the last live event in the festival’s 15th edition.
Originally scheduled to be held in late November as part of the festival’s ‘A Cappella Live’ series, the concert had to be postponed at the eleventh hour as the Gozo ferry had cancelled its service on the day.
