Alex Borg the Nationalist Party Spokesperson for Gozo has said that ”the indications are that the Nationalist Party has won in Gozo” for the European Parliament elections.

He described it as a ”great achievement for Gozo and Malta.”

The Labour Party declared victory earlier today for the EP elections but with a much reduced majority on previous years. Some reports are noting that the gap between the parties could go down below 10,000 votes.

The official result should be known late this evening.
