The Youth4Entrepreneurship Gozo 2026 initiative focusing on the theme, “Digital Solutions for a Smarter Island,” has been launched by the Gozo Business Chamber.

Now in its eighth edition, the competition invites young people to develop innovative, digital-based ideas that respond to real issues affecting Gozo.

Participants are invited to explore solutions within three key areas:

Accessibility – improving connectivity, mobility and access to services in Gozo;

Ageing Population – supporting active, healthy and independent ageing through digital solutions;

Youth Participation – creating new ways for young people to engage, participate and contribute to their communities.

The Chamber said that the initiative is open to young people aged 16 – 35 residing in the Maltese Islands. ”You do not need to be Gozitan, but your idea must have a clear and practical application to Gozo.”

Participants will also have the opportunity to benefit from training, expert guidance and mentoring as they develop their ideas and prepare their pitch.

Shortlisted participants will present their proposals during the Youth4Entrepreneurship Gozo Final on Friday, the 6th of November, at 7pm before a panel of evaluators.
