The owners of wind powered water pumps on Gozo, who were eligible to receive financial assistance under a second call of the restoration scheme issued by the Ministry for Gozo in June 2010, were recently presented with their cheques during an event which took place at the Ministry.

The Restoration of Wind Powered Water Pumps is part of the eco-Gozo project. The scheme is financed by the Ministry for Gozo and co-ordinated by the Department for Projects and Development within the same Ministry.

The presentations were made by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono.
