Eman Borg resigns as Secretary General of Gozo Ruby Club

In a statement this afternoon Eman Borg has announced his resignation from the Gozo Rugby Club, saying, “I find myself with great sadness writing this statement, as I would like to inform everyone that I am resigning from my position as Secretary General representing the first ever Gozitian Rugby Club – Gozo Rugby Club. I took this role in April 2011.
“This Club includes in it: Gozo Rugby League that takes part in the MRL Competitions and Gozo Bulls Rugby Football Club that takes part in MRFU Competitions.
Eman continued in his statement, “I would like to Thank all Members of the committee, players and volunteers for the opportunities, for professional and personal development that you have provided me during my time in this committee.
“I have enjoyed working for the dream seeded by President Clifford Debattista and I do and will always believe in the Club.
“I would like to thank Mr Clifford Debattista and Mr Anthony Micallef for their time. I would like to thank my family for their patience and there help.
“I will hold every responsibility as Secretary for Gozo Rugby Club until a new secretary is elected. This vacancy will be elected between the members in 6 weeks time,” Eman concluded.
