The Police have advised that 71-year old Vera Bodil Engelbrecht Holm, the Danish woman, who was found dead last month was strangled.
The woman’s body was found naked lying face down in a pool of water by a dog walker in Tal-Kapuccini Valley, limits of Victoria,
The Police said in its statement today that, “from the initial stages, due to the suspicious circumstances the Police were treating the case as a willful homicide.”
“The pathologists had today confirmed that the cause of death of the deceased was one due to asphyxia by way of strangulation.”
Investigations into this case are actively in progress and the Police are once again appealing anyone who has information on this case to come forward or call on telephone numbers 119 or 2122 4001.
