Finance Minister Tonio Fenech has announced that Gozo Channel is to mark it’s 30th anniversary by offering free trips for passengers on this coming Sunday’s ferry services between 10.00am and 5.00pm. Vehicles will charged at the normal rates.

Live entertainment will also be provided on these trips, including Chiara, OzzyLino, magicians and childrens animators.

The Minister said that 2008 was a record year for Gozo Channel, which operated 19,971 trips, carried 3.94 million passengers and 1.06 million vehicles.
