Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana has visited clients at the Jesus of Nazareth Centre in Xaghra.

This night shelter service is operated by the Ministry for Gozo and opened in September 2018. It offers accommodation to a number of elderly people from the community of Xaghra, providing a secure and protective environment for those who live alone and whom, at night, for various reasons, feel insecure.Dr Caruana said that she is very happy that the service has proved to be so beneficial for those who use it. There are 7 residents of Xaghra who are spending their days at home and their nights at the Centre.
