Two men aged 55 and 90 have passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.

There were 202 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 1,253 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 4,708.

There are 103 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 6 who are in ITU.

There have been 534 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 322,092.
