Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma started his first day of work in the Bishop’s Curia in Victoria on Tuesday, where he received a warm welcome from the Vicar General of the Gozo Diocese Mgr. Tarcis Camilleri.
The occasion was marked with a small reception including a cake and a gathering of Curia staff , as well as several delegates.
Mgr Anton Teuma was installed as the 9th Bishop of Gozo last Friday evening, with an Episcopal Consecration at the Rotunda of St. John the Baptist, Xewkija.
A Thanksgiving concelebration will be held this evening, at 6.30pm, at the Rotunda of St. John the Baptist, Xewkija.
Bishop Mons. Anton Teuma will lead his first Mass at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Victoria, on Wednesday, the 16th of September, at 6.30pm – This day also marks the 156th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Gozo.
